17 official observation points will have the Coquimbo Region for the Total Solar Eclipse this July 2

We are 75 days away of the most anticipated astronomical phenomenon of the recent years: the Total Solar Eclipse. This July 2nd at 16.38 o´clock the moon will start to get in front of the sun and during 2 minutes and 15 seconds the day will become night.

The Coquimbo Region will have the privilege of being the best place in the whole planet to observe this incredible phenomenon and that is why the authorities are preparing at full speed to receive the more than 300 thousand visitors that are expected for the date.

To this end, 17 official observation points have been set up, which will have basic services such as drinking water, toilets, cell phones and specialized personnel to deal with emergencies.
